THE KINGS GUARD SHOUTS LET GO OF THE REINS!
A tourist crosses the line and grabs hold of the reins of the King’s Guard’s horse unaware of the seriousness of the act. In an instant the silence is shattered by a thunderous command as the guard shouts let go of the reins with unmistakable force. The crowd jolts at the sound while the tourist quickly pulls back hands trembling from the shock. The guard’s tone leaves no room for doubt this is not a place for touching or interference. Order is swiftly restored and the guard resumes his post with disciplined stillness as murmurs of respect ripple through the watching crowd.
